Problems to be Solved #1 : Ad Links - Progress 2.0
We tried to look for examples of jQuery for finding out links from a page. However, it seems to be not working on the ads; href or src are put in uncertain classes or IDs. Therefore, we did research on how people check all links on website, and we find out an extension - Ad Stickers.
Ad sticker works like an ironic tool that clicks all ads on a page, and all pages will be closed after loading is completed. The problem of this extension is relying on the url starting with specific domains, such as googleAds. Therefore, in the testings, some of the ad links were not able to be detected, and no results could be used for the next step - looking up in history.
